IT'S TIME WE REDEFINED "AGEING"

Lately we’ve been noticing a shift in the beauty space, where the term “anti-aging” once dominated,“pro-ageing” is starting to take centre stage. Of course, none of us want to age – prematurely. The reality is that we all; we just want to do it like a pro! Here’s our tops tips to help you feel good, at any age.

Surround yourself with good energy

You are who you surround yourself with so keep the energy positive within your immediate circle. Caring for your happiness and enjoying the people you work and socialise with are key factors to your mental health. All of this is to say: toxic and negative people can age you, so keep the spirits high and your body, mind, and soul will thank you.

Movement

Keeping your body moving. Stretching, walking, and strength training will help to  keep your body healthy and strong. This reduces inflammation and supports your bones and muscles through the ageing process, which maintains your vitality and posture.

Nourishment

Eat the foods that make you feel alive, energised, and optimised! Leafy greens, such as arugula and spinach, are among the most nutrient-rich foods we can eat. They’re full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants like vitamin C, beta-carotene, and fiber.

Skincare

Protect the skin with sunscreen and products containing vitamin C and antioxidants that fight off damage from internal and external aggressors that can accelerate the breakdown of collagen and elastin. Use retinoids and/or acids to turn over cells, stimulate collagen, and mildly resurface the skin to keep the complexion radiant. Use nourishing ingredients like niacinamide, and vitamin-rich oils like avocado, which is rich in vitamins A and E, and known to have anti-aging properties and offers free-radical protection. You'll find powerhouse ingredients in our Regenerating Night Cream.

It wouldn’t be an anti-aging story without including sunscreen. The best way to do this it to have it conveniently included in your day cream. And don’t forget to apply to your hands too (which is one of the first areas that starts to show the signs of ageing). Face, neck, hands - every day.
